SECOND-LIFE BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE (BESS)

  • Moment Energy Storage reduces GHG emissions and energy costs by offsetting fossil-fuel usage at commercial, industrial, rural & off-grid buildings, as well as consistently powering EV fleets.

  • By storing grid electricity or clean energy generated by Solar & Wind Energy, Moment is able to supply buildings with added electrical capacity, & EV fleets with power for fast-charging.

  • Moment Energy increases energy security & independence in buildings by supplying reliable back-up power and additional electricity capacity, which contributes to grid resilience & deferring costly electrical upgrades.

WHY MOMENT ENERGY?

Installed at the off-grid God's Pocket Resort near Port Hardy, BC, Moment Energy's Flora system has reduced diesel generator runtime significantly, and serves as the primary energy source for the off-grid microgrid. 


The system can power over ten buildings for four days during the off-season, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and energy costs, enhancing the resort's guest experience.
